Lac Viet Academy

Lac Viet Academy is a non-profit after-school and summer instructional program serving immigrant children and their families in the South End of Louisville.  Lac Viet was established in 1999 under the auspices of the Community Foundation of Louisville (CFL), and continues to operate under CFL fiscal sponsorship today.  Our center, located on the second floor of the former St. John Vianney school building next to Americana Community Center, operates on a year-round basis.  During the months of the year when public and private schools are in session, Lac Viet operates as an after-school program between the hours of 3 and 6:00 p.m.
During June and July, Lac Viet holds a seven-week intensive summer school program and is open during daytime hours.  Immigrant children and youth enrolled in grades kindergarten through eight are eligible to enroll in Lac Viet Academy.
